Board Immersion Program
Our Objective
Accelerate shareholder value through the development of current and future directors with the governance agility required for the modern boardroom.
BOARD IMMERSION PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Directors Academy provides premier corporate governance education and training for current and future board members from diverse backgrounds via the Board Immersion Program. The goal is to better prepare both current and future board members for the complexities of modern corporate governance. The program is taught by elite practitioners with extensive board experience in a wide variety of public and private companies, and with Arizona State University faculty.
The program begins with an October virtual pre-session which includes a deep dive into Director Duties, Responsibilities, and Rights. The two-day in-person program provides participants with a unique, fully immersive boardroom experience through committee and full board simulations.
The program enables participants to fully immerse themselves in the work of the full board and each committee, while also engaging in best practices exchange and panel discussions with current board members, CEOs and other key stakeholders. In addition, participants have the opportunity to refine their personal board value propositions and meet with board leaders and board search consultants to broaden their network and sharpen their ability to connect with key decision makers. As part of the program, each class member has the opportunity to participate in one-on-one mentoring discussions with faculty members.
Travel and hotel accommodations are not included in the participant fee.
